Sometimes you just gotta penguin yourself in a jacket and take pics.

I've been stalking this sweater (Dottie Couture, launches tonight at 8!) for almost a week now, ever since I saw her on the snap. I'm always a lover of blush so I knew I needed to add this sweater to my closet. I love layering as a general rule but I could also wear this over a swimsuit in the summertime! Versatile AND pretty...yes please.

I've acquired a few of these ruffle bottom tanks over the past few years, and I love them so so much. This one is an old Dottie tank, and I love the length of these pieces together! The little bit of lace at the bottom sweetly complements the blush color of the sweater; I just love when outfits fall together this easily. I can assure you it isn't often!

I've expressed my love of olive and blush together on the blog before, but I think I may love hunter and blush together even more! My hunter green cords are from American Eagle a while back, and I have worn them a lot more than I thought I would! I think I'll keep them forever...

My camel oxfords are Sperry, and I don't wear them as often as I would like to simply because I'm never really sure how to style them! I think they have a schoolgirl/nerdy look about them and I love that!

I paired my thrifted cropped jacket to complete the look, despite it being weather inappropriate today...sigh. One day we'll get warm weather back for a while! Until then I'll keep on loving my Winter picks sprinkled with Spring!

Thanks for reading!!

Love,
Ashley

Behind the dainty days is a whole lot of planning. And coffee.
Here is a look at both, and everything between.
