Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! What better way to spend your (short but sweet) Thanksgiving break than with your family, stuffing your face? There is none, fools. To start it off right, Graham and I spent Wednesday morning taking pics, playing with leaves, and solving world (okay personal) issues. He's really and truly the best. Even though I'm quite literally whiter than my socks, I love wearing skirts and dresses in the Fall and Winter! This burgundy skirt is from Aeropostale and I have already worn it a lot this season! It's one of my favorite hues for the colder months, and is easily styled with an array of colors. Today I paired it with this cropped charcoal sweater from Marshall's, and my absolute holy grail beanie (Target, a few years back). I'll basically find any excuse to wear this hat, and I like to pretend that color coordination isn't a thing in regards to my head from November-March. Multi-color is a neutral, right? My burgundy wrap bracelet is vintage Dottie, and my rose gold Kate Spade crossbody was another lovely Christmas gift from my MIL! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
{When you want so badly to pelt your precious brother in law with leaves after he's done you a favor for an entire hour and it doesn't work out} ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I hope your Thanksgiving has been as fabulous as you are, sassy friends! Love, Ashley

Shabby Apple KAI dress, $100 Size 0P This dress just changed my whole perspective on what a dress should do for my look. It was made to be a stand alone piece, and believe me when I say it lives up to that purpose. If I didn't need the jacket to prevent hypothermia, I would've gladly styled this dress entirely on its own.
TOMS wedges in "chestnut", $88 Similar Ann Taylor cropped jacket, thrifted Asymmetrical Heart Initial Necklace in rose gold, $28 I wanted to keep my jewelry as simple as possible, and decided my latest go-to was the perfect piece for this outfit (as well as every outfit of the last two weeks!). I am obsessed with the rose gold color, the daintiness of the heart, and the personalization of the initial. The ladies at Bip and Bop jewelry are incredible to work with, and I highly suggest them for all your personalized jewelry needs! I love that the clasp is placed so that the necklace lays asymmetrically OR centered, depending on how you feel like styling it!
What is your favorite classic piece in your wardrobe? Let me know! Love, Ashley I could drone on for hours wondering over where all my time goes. However, I won't, because I'd like to entice readers to stay tuned rather than bore them to tears with trivialities. I feel like it was yesterday that I was romping around at the IMA with my friend and her camera and now here we are approximately a million years later. Regardless of how quickly it goes, I'm so grateful for every minute of what I get, and for the people I am so blessed to spend it with. ESPECIALLY when that means I get to romp around pretending I'm Red Riding Hood on an exceptionally warm autumn evening...I mean nothing better than that.
I styled this piece with neutrals so that it didn't overwhelm all 62 inches of me. These UGG riding boots are an old favorite of mine, I really like this shade of taupe because it matches most anything! I've had a lot of fun incorporating rompers into my fall wardrobe this year! This cream romper is from Dottie, and I love its classic lines combined with the short lace trim at the bottom of the shorts. These aspects make it a breeze to style it multiple ways while still keep a touch of girly sweetness.
What have you been loving all 18 (gasp) days of November? Let me know! Love, Ashley |
