I got the sweetest compliments about this top! I was only out and about for a few hours and had no fewer than 5 inquiries as to where I'd gotten it! I love it that much too, and am happy to share it's from Honey Lake Boutique. The cream lace detailing is so feminine and delicate, and pops out beautifully from the rich pomegranate color. I paired the top with my charcoal skinnies (old, dearly loved pair from Dottie) and my Sandgren's clogs in the color "bone" to bring the cream back from top! P.S.--Sandgren's is having a MAJOR sale right now! I linked the sale page above...check them out and thank me later. They have the most amazing quality and comfort! How is your week going so far? We're officially over the hump, we can make it to the weekend :) Love, Ashley

^^^ It's something you don't see all too often around here, as I tend to favor neutrals. But how could I resist this beautiful red dress from Honey Lake Boutique for summer?! You're right, I couldn't. Evan Charles loves red, so I know this beautiful number will be on repeat for date nights...as soon as we get over this Bar-studying-24/7 hump. Right now we're mostly staying in and trying to keep him sane via study breaks. This dress lays so nicely, and is wider at the hem which makes it sway and swish just right. The adjustable straps make it work for an array of heights, and even got short enough for me! The back of the dress is without adornment, which I think helps the embroidery on the front stand out better. I think I could even pair this with a cropped leather jacket and booties in the fall for an edgier fall look! What do you think of this bright summery look? You can use code ASHLEY20 for a discount on Honey Lake's site (link above and HERE. Do you love pops of color for summer or find yourself sticking to neutrals? I hope your summer is off to a great start!
Love, Ashley If you've been around me for any length of time (or followed me on Instagram or just happened by a random photo of mine even) you have probably noticed my obsession with all things stationery. I love my planner, but a blank notebook is infinitely more fun for me to tackle as it is a blank space to be filled up entirely in accordance with my whims! My fellow letterpress freaks will surely understand this sentiment, and if you don't fall under that umbrella but have been in need of some inspo-- I highly suggest buying a journal. The darling notebook pictured above comes in a set of three for only $6! I like to keep any of these three handy for notes on the go, as the size and weight of the notebook make it easy to take wherever I go! As I've mentioned before, I am a lover of quotes. This is where I'm keeping some of my newest favorites. I found it appropriate since these notebooks say "Words of Wisdom" on the front. The "snail mail" printed note boards (on my right) are the most darling notes I have probably ever sent...and I love the nod to our old way of communicated which goes largely neglected nowadays! Getting notes in the mail is the best, and my grandmother loved the note I sent her on this darling set. This graph paper notebook has done my type A mind some favors in my bullet journaling forays. The lines make a cleaner outline for me than do the typical dot grid journals used for bullet journaling! The area in life which I openly, truthfully suckkkk at is the kitchen with all things culinary! This darling steno-esque notepad has actually made it fun for me to try my hand at weekly meal planning along with the added bonus of space to make a grocery list. It is easy and efficient to rip out the weekly sheet and get rid of it when it's on to the next! P.S. If you have any tips or tricks to share with a clueless cook, I'd love to hear them! Elūm's site is recently relaunched and so so beautiful along with the added benefit of being mobile device-friendly! I can assure you that whatever your stationery needs, Elūm has you covered and is without a doubt the most budget-friendly high quality paper goods I've found! I'm also excited to share with you the offer for free shipping with code "FIRST50" -BUT- it's only for the first 50 purchases on their new site! If you order from them, I'd love to see what you chose! I'm certain you'll love their products as much as I do.
Have a happy weekend! Love, Ashley |
