I love a chunky sweater at any length, but a cropped one especially suits my shorter stature!
I decided to style this one (American Eagle, currently on clearance!) three different ways, each suiting a different occasion/vibe. I ended up sizing up to a medium in this sweater because it's a little shorter in back, but I'd say it otherwise fits pretty true to size.
While I love the cut of this tunic, let's be real here.
97% of its charm lies in the fact that it has
Clothing manufacturers should make pockets
mandatory in women's clothing, if you ask me.
This is probably why no one asks me...
I paired my Michael Kors buckle booties with this
solid top to dress it up a little while still
maintaining comfort as top priority!
I got to usher in the new year in my favorite way-- celebrating my Papa Bear's birthday! He's a January 1 baby, and celebrating him has always been the fresh start I seem to need once Christmas is over. He's my favorite human for so many reasons, but one of the top few is because he is such a giving man to all he meets. Because of that, there's nothing we wouldn't do for him too. He makes my heart feel good and I'm a better person just for knowing him, not to mention I was lucky enough to be raised by him as well.
My charcoal fuzzy vest is from Dottie, and the warmth provided by it far exceeds the
lack of attractiveness it leaves me. In Indiana, you've got to keep your priorities straight before frostbite takes over.
I paired an olive v neck underneath a
heather grey cardigan from Aeropostale under
the vest for a comfortable but surprisingly warm
I never really have a plan when going into an outfit, but I was pleasantly surprised at how the olive and greys complemented each other and I think I'll be wearing them together again!
I think one of the reasons I insist on wearing them with everything is because they're so comfortable! I love the clickity clack of heels but not the painstaking days the sound results in, and these provide all the noise and none of the pain. Nailed it.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Let me know!
Behind the dainty days is a whole lot of planning. And coffee.
Here is a look at both, and everything between.
